Our day trip to Satsop was full of fantasmical images and experiences! We arrived to the Satsop Park on an autumn morning, and the nuclear towers were shrouded in mist. After a few hours, the sun broke through and lightened up both towers creating an ethereal setting. As we went into the towers, the vastness of the interiors made us feel small and left us totally mesmerized.  Not only is Satsop known for its two never finished Satsop Nuclear Plants, but today it is one of Washington’s top business parks with vast spaces to lease for office and commercial use. In fact, rumor has it that Hollywood wants to lease Satsop for its next Terminator sequel that might be filmed here.    We went on a tour of the Satsop Park, including visits to both Nuclear Towers and the building originally planned for the Nuclear Reactor. Click here to view an experimental video of the Tower’s interior and listen to the amazing acoustics.   According to our guide, construction of the towers began in 1977, but ended in 1983 due to a budget shortfall of $961 million needed to finish it. The towers were 76% complete, and in the mid-1990’s, the site was ingeniously converted into a business development park.  This adds to a supernatural setting for the Satsop Office Park and creates a magical quality to the land surrounding the office spaces. It was as if we were on a movie set for Salt, or 24, or a 007 movie.  Satsop fired up our imaginations and we were ready to see anything from an action hero to a haunted ghost around each corner. It was thrilling to experience!   Satsop Business Park is located in Western Washington. The Park provides a unique environment with 1,700-acres of state-of-the-art telecommunications, solid infrastructure, high-tech office space along with tenant services. It’s an ideal location offering room for businesses ready to grow with turn-key divisible sizes of 200 to 90,000 sq. ft. This is not your normal business park. The Nuclear Towers add an out-of-this-world experience for any visitors or businesses ready to rev-up. For more details on how to lease space, contact: business@satsop.com or #866-572-8767.
