Habla Espanol? Learn Spanish in Costa Rica

Learn Spanish in Costa Rica and see the countryside. We will be staying in the village where I served in Peace Corps and participants will live with a host family. We will study Spanish for 4 hours/day and then will use the afternoon to see an aspect of the country and practice our Spanish. We also are offering weekend trips to the beach, volcano and cloud forest.

I am partnering with a Costa Rican local – for more information, visit: http://hablals.com/personal/costa-rica-immersion-program/. I will be teaching the Spanish classes. They will be very small. 2-4 people. If we have a group of split levels, my partner Roy will also be teaching.

Tilarán, Guanacaste: Gateway to Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano, Tilarán is a charming town that lies in the northeastern regions of the Guanacaste Province. Located along the Pan American Highway some 4 km from Lake Arenal, Tilaran is now fast becoming a key location for adventures in and around the lake area. A quaint little town 22 km from Cañas, Tilarán is also a major farming zone for coffee, peanuts and macadamia nuts in the region as well as for cattle and horse ranching.

A relaxed and laid-back town, where the residents are friendly and everyone knows their neighbor, Tilarán is a great place to stay in while touring the Arenal area due to its fantastic climate and slow pace of life. The weather in Tilarán is great because this town lies over 500 meters above sea level, and the temperatures here are always cool and comfortable. Tilarán is also a great area for some world class windsurfing in Arenal Lake.
